This election season’s most anticipated event, the West Hollywood City Council candidate forum, will take place on February 6 at 7 pm.
The event, at which all nine of the candidates for the two city council seats in the March 5 election will have their chance to answer questions and speak to the public, will occur at the West Hollywood Auditorium.
This will be the only forum allowing citizens to hear directly from all of the candidates for City Council prior to the election.
The address is 647 N. San Vicente Blvd., West Hollywood, CA, 90069.
The affair is hosted by a coalition of West Hollywood residents associations that includes Tri-West, WEHONA, West Hollywood Heights, West Hollywood North Neighborhood Association and the West Hollywood West Residents Association.
The forum will be moderated and questions will reflect a cross section of issues important to the residents and businesses of West Hollywood.
Lynn Hoopingarner, event organizer, said, “We are looking forward to meeting and hearing from all the candidates.
“We encourage everyone to attend, as there will be an opportunity for a limited number of questions from the audience,” she said.
People unable to attend in person will be able to participate by watching the event live on cable’s WeHoTV or on the city’s streaming video site at WeHo.org/wehotv.
