This morning Amanda Bynes, the auto insurance industry’s bane and her attorneys’ boon, pleaded not guilty to two counts of hit-and-run.

Charged earlier this month after two separate incidents, one in May and  another in August after allegedly hitting two cars and running from the scene,

She still faces one DUI charge and two misdemeanor citations for driving after a judge suspended her license.

The LA City Attorney declined to file suit against her in the wake of the April incident, but when she allegedly repeated the  crime in August the filed charges against her for both incidents.

The DUI charge stems from an April incident in West Hollywood.

On April 6, 2012, Ms. Bynes was booked for driving under the influence after she hit a Sheriff’s patrol vehicle and then failed a DUI test around 3 AM at Robertson and Santa Monica Boulevard in West Hollywood.

According to the Sheriff, a Deputy in a marked black and white patrol car was stopped at the intersection of northbound Robertson Boulevard at Santa Monica Boulevard preparing to turn right.

It was at that point that a black BMW driven by Ms. Bynes attempted to pass to the right of the patrol car, colliding with the right rear quarter panel vehicle.

There was minor paint transfer damage to both vehicles.

She was detained for an investigation and was subsequently arrested for driving under the influence and booked at West Hollywood Sheriff’s Station.

She paid a $5,000 and was released later that morning.

She reportedly tried to go partying again after her release from jail.

Amanda Bynes was one of Teen People's "25 Hottest Stars Under 25" in 2006 and Forbes’ fifth highest paid celebrity under 21, with earnings of $2.5 million.

When she appeared in court in June to plead not guilty to that charge, the judge suspended her drivers license, however, that did not seem to faze Ms. Bynes.

TMZ repeatedly shot footage of the actress driving around town, even smoking what looked like marijuana in the car.

It was last month that she allegedly his another auto in West Hollywood,  apparently backing her BMW out of a parking spot on Sunset Boulevard into the car behind her, causing minor damage.

Just days later, Burbank police caught her driving, impounded her car and cited her for driving on a suspended license.

Ms. Bynes has shown odd behavior as of late, holding up in a West Hollywood boutique’s dressing room for nearly two hours only to come out wearing a bikini she initially “forgot to pay for.”

During her stay in the dressing room, employees heard a banging noise come from inside at approximately ten minute intervals.

The next day she was asked to leave a spinning class in a West Hollywood fitness facility for inappropriate behavior that included stripping down to her push-up bra and pausing to apply make-up.

TMZ reported last week that the Nickelodeon star was dropped by her entire management team – “her agent, publicist and entertainment lawyer.”
