Beginning today, Monday, November 2 and continuing through November 13 (with a weekend break), Los Angeles Department of Water & Power (LADWP) will be repairing Vista Street along the 1000 block.
The first road repairs will be done on the southbound travel lane and parking on the west side of the street on Vista and will last until November 6.
Traffic will be reduced to one lane in the northbound direction.
The access to driveways at 1015 & 1019 Vista Street will be blocked starting Monday, November 2, from 8:00 am until Friday, November 6 at 5:00 pm.
Workers will be working during 8 am - 5 pm, however overnight cars will not be able to drive through the work area because of the roadway excavation.
If residents live in those affected buildings and want to use their vehicles during the construction period it must be parked outside of the work area prior to Nov. 2, at 8:00 am and there will be no access to their garage until Friday.
The construction schedule for the following week, that of Nov. 9-13, 2009, shows a focus on the east side of street.

Do not park in the neighboring City of Los Angeles Permit Parking Districts (read posted signs to be sure) because the City of Los Angeles may cite and/or tow your vehicle.
